Personal Branding: MELVIN

My final year in the graphics program I was given a personal branding assignment. I was required to create a brand identity for myself that included at least one of my names. The name of my brand was a no brainer, Melvin. It is my middle name and a family name but most importantly, it is my father's name. I'm the only boy cousin and a middle child between two sisters. I have the greatest mother in the world and have been blessed with fantastic grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles but Melvin is without a doubt a tribute to the greatest man I have and will ever know, my dad. The brand started as a college assignment but it quickly became my passion. For the past three years I have been experimenting with and evolving my own personal design style under this branding and mark. I feel that some of my strongest design work has fallen under Melvin and this is definitely the strongest representation of my artistic personality. It might not all make a ton of sense but I hope you can get something from something. I thought of you today.
